Launching the Bridge Presbyterian

 The Bridge Presbyterian Church will launch worship on Sunday, August 17th @ 8:15 and 10:00am
at 497 Olde Waterford Way in the Waterford Commons.

The Bridge Church LaunchThe Bridge is the first new church sponsored by the Coastal Carolina Presbytery in nearly two decades. The two worship services are part of a weekend of events celebrating the launching of the worship services.

On Friday August 15th at 4:00pm, the Bridge will host a ribbon-cutting w/ Northern Brunswick Chamber of Commerce. The ribbon-cutting will include live music and refreshments.

On Saturday August 16th from 10:00am to 2:00pm the Bridge will host a “Launch-Weekend Celebration,” including free food, live music and activities for kids and families. Located in the field adjacent to the worship center, the celebration is open to everyone. Please bring non-perishable food items to support Matthew’s Ministry.

Sunday, August 17th, The Bridge Presbyterian Church will launch worship at 8:15am and 10:00am at 497 Olde Waterford Way in the Waterford Commons.

Organizing Pastor, Dr. Doug Cushing said: “I’m convinced people living on the Brunswick Co. side of the Cape Fear Bridge are looking for a new Presbyterian church that combines modern technology, relevant preaching and a rock-the-house band with a commitment to be inclusive and celebrating the sacraments.

  1. The events of the Worship launch weekend sound exciting! I hope there is a good buzz in the community talking about all the things God is doing to bring this new ministry into being. May God’s Spirit bring together seekers and believers to be a new expression of the body of Christ in Leland!
