Faithful Saint Nomination & Recognition 2015
The Committee for Christian Education invites each church to recommend one deserving member for recognition as an outstanding older adult who is an exemplary faithful saint in our midst. We ask that sessions focus on the volunteer work done in the later years of life, both in the church and community.
Purpose: The purpose of the Faithful Saints Recognition is to honor persons, 60 years or older, who exemplify positive images of aging at every level of the church and/or community. Further, this recognition offers an opportunity at the local and presbytery levels to recognize faithful saints who, by their example, serve as role models to all the generations for maturing with a sense of God’s grace.
