What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to collect information that you voluntarily give us via email, forms or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We may share your information with our partners mission agencies such as member churches in the Presbytery, The Synod of the Mid-Atlantic, the PCUSA Mission Agency, or Monroe Camp & Retreat Center or similar partner agency. Otherwise we will not share your information with any unrelated third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Forms
From time-to-time our site requests information via forms (such as a meeting registration). Participation in these forms is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and therefore disclose this information.
Information requested may include contact information (such as name and address, email,), and demographic information. Contact information will be used to regsiter for meetings and update contact information on file with the Presbytery.
Form submissions will be used for contacting participants about the event and related follow-up.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies

Who we share your data with
The Presbytery Staff have access to the data on this website. There are a few other members of the Presbytery who edit content on the site and may have access to the data. No one will use the data for unauthorized purposes.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data

In order to block hackers, our website block IP addresses after multiple failed login attempts. This website does not accept credit card information.
